Winter Sailing

Winter Sailing has traditionally seen juniors sailing on Lake Pupuke for many reasons.

You do not have to be a member as you can come as many times as you wish as a visitor. Just pay the visitor fee at the shed.

Juniors get a free soft drink included in their entry and most winter weekends, a sausage from the BBQ after racing.

Sylvan Park is a great place for parents to watch the racing and socialise.

Sailing is quick and easy as you do not have to wash your boat after as the lake is fresh water.  If you get cold it is a short sail to the shore.

Come and give it a try and get your freinds to join you. It will give you invaluable experience of how to sail the wind shifts!
